TEXTURES

At stops in our ramblings, various textures and patterns caught my eye.

A haphazard, unfinished sidewalk display:

Sturdy shrub on the brink of a long drop to the sea:

Weathered paint on weathered wood on a weathered barn:

The "token" pealing bark of a madrona tree:

Soft weeds cushioning a forgotten trunk in a field:

My favs by far are the barn weathering, it's amazing to me what the sun can do over time, what a truly unique find! I'm so glad no one came along and said "that needs to be repainted", it's great the way it is!!!

And the other fav is the madrona, to me is says, all in one frame: birth, life, death and resurrection. Very nice capture!
