Winter weather still prevents me from foraging outside with my new camera. But my husband continues his old tradition (established when we lived in the mountains) of bringing me spring flowers every week! So not only do I enjoy their fresh colors and beauty, I can use them for photo practice.Here is this week's subject!

Remember - Nikon's are known for slightly under exposing so you can adjust your exposure compensation to compensate or use a wider aperature (smaller #) than what your meter reads (just above the center line) or use a lower shutter speed (same as above - your meter will read over exposed just slightly) - IF your pictures are coming out under exposed.
