Driving through the Palouse

From our house to Pullman is a 5 1/2-hour drive. Most of it is through high plains and farm country, called The Palouse. (Appalousa horses, anyone?; they "originated" here.) I didn't speak up fast enough for stopping for photo ops, and "lost" 7 good ones. But here is what we did stop for:

This irrigation structure was moving away from me pretty fast, swinging through the mud to the left. I love the angles:
