Some Cutie-pie faces from the San Diego Zoo

Since returning home, I haven't even had time to look at all my pics. But I did see these right off at download time. These are sooc. My dson-in-law loaned me his monopod, which up until then I had thought pretty much useless. Now I don't leave home without it! I used it throughout the zoo. I have to return it, and today my dh said for me to pick out a monopod for my birthday!

Driving through the Palouse

From our house to Pullman is a 5 1/2-hour drive. Most of it is through high plains and farm country, called The Palouse. (Appalousa horses, anyone?; they "originated" here.) I didn't speak up fast enough for stopping for photo ops, and "lost" 7 good ones. But here is what we did stop for:
